As we are, we are uprooted, we lack groundedness, balance. The reason being we identify ourselves with ever-changing thoughts and patterns which are unreliable, and in the first place not even ours.

The mind has become our master and the real master inside is asleep. We blindly follow the conflicting thoughts and that creates an inner conflict.

Our energies are scattered and moving outwards and we have totally forgotten the center of the energy.

 

This identification with conflicting thoughts e.g. a thought is of freedom and another thought is of security and we identify with both. This creates an inner conflict, a tension.

 

Fear, desire, greed, anger, lust; all are by-product of this identification.
